Chocolate Revel Bars

Chocolate revel bars are a classic dessert composed of a soft, chewy oatmeal cookie base layered with a rich, fudgy chocolate filling. The bottom layer is made from a buttery oatmeal dough.  A luscious chocolate mixture, often containing sweetened condensed milk and chocolate chips, is spread over the base. Dollops or crumbles of the remaining oatmeal dough are scattered on top before baking, creating a deliciously contrasting texture and flavor in every bite.
